SHIM LAMINATION SYSTEM
This is for lamination of shim (s) to the embossing cylinder which have been pre cut to size on the guillotine to suit exact roller circumference. Adhesive is laminated to the heated roller under pressure, this is then removed and the shim ( or ganged up shims) are then laminated to this adhesive coated roller. If the optional heater unit is supplied then the shim is pressure bonded to the roller by means of pneumatic pressure units on the lamination table. This acts as a bedding in method under heat prior to installation of the holographic embossing roller onto the embossing machine.
